We build sustainably

At 60 years old, our production plant 1 had steadily grown with us and was ready for significant improvements. It previously consisted of numerous, smaller production areas and open spaces, a 21,000 square-foot, heated production hall, and 13 outer doors. Each of those 13 doors was losing valuable heat! The new design, with only two outer doors needed, means significantly increased energy efficiency and tremendous savings. At the same time, our heating system has been modernized and all interior space has been outfitted with a lighting system meeting the highest requirements. Of course, it all meets the most current standards for energy efficiency. At 39,500 square feet, the amount of covered space in the new production plant 1 has almost doubled. The much larger space has also allowed us to considerably optimize our operating procedures in production. We are pleased that our highly modern production hall is ready for energy efficiency requirements of the coming years.

The new construction has already led to a heat savings of 30% in the first year. With our carefully thought out energy concept for production plant 1, we’re ready for the future.
